The worst has already passed

When you feel so lonely and can’t sleep at night,
because everything gives you a fright.
The pain and the sadness takes control,
and once again you’re all alone.

I love darkness, I am afraid of the light, the only light I love staring at, is the moonlight.

I devote myself to acting happy,
but at night when I’m all alone,
some how it all spills out,
when no-one can see, and no-one can hear.
All of the pain and all of the fear.

Each day I live, the pain consumes,
What little sanity I have bloomed.
Like walking in a cloud of fog,
Falling down, sinking into smog.

Down in a black hole trying to escape depression,
But you can’t run away from what will always be your reflection.
And as you run away reality is getting nearer,
And instead of changing you, you try to change the mirror.
But what do you do when the mirror falls down?
Breaking apart as it hits the ground.

But now I am stronger; stronger than before.
Because I have realized, fear can only be bad if you imagine it more & more.
And sorrow comes with tears just as gray clouds come with rain,
And then it will pass quicker than it came.
So just be proud you didn’t cut yourself with the mirror’s glass,
And just know that the worst already passed.

I Know True Love’s Worth

That very first day we met,

Its a feeling I’ll never forget.

All the experiences that we shared,

I knew right away that you were rare.

My love for you is like an undying flame,

I now have only destiny to blame.

You hurt me that night, you know, you did.

And I need you to know that I can forgive.

Do you remember the day, the day we played in the snow,

Its the day, I wished for our love to grow.

But I am really struggling with trying to forget,

Because I still feel the same as the day we first met.

What does forever mean to you,

When you even couldn’t keep it true.

You said, you would forever be there,

But were those words, just pulled from thin air.

Did you actually love me,

Did you actually felt what I did,

The truth, the love, the loyal tears,

The betrayal, the hate and the fear.

But now my heart has healed.

All cuts have been sealed.

I have friends that are real.

And have provided me the much needed zeal.

And you’re gone out of my life.

Unable to pierce me anymore with the heartbreaking knife.

I once thought forever was not just a word.

Thank you for proving me wrong,

But what you don’t know is

I know true love’s worth.

Kiss me once again!

You leaned over and  kissed me

I felt myself go weak

You leaned over and  kissed me

Even couldn’t I speak

You leaned over and  kissed me

With a passion flowing free

You leaned over and kissed me

Intimacy that we could see

You leaned over and kissed me

A touch so delicate and tender

You leaned over and kissed me

A kiss I would remember

You leaned over and kissed me

I am sure I kissed you back

You leaned over and kissed me

A fire that could set

million things ablaze

You leaned over and  kissed meKiss me Once

You left me desiring for more

You leaned over and kissed me

My soul you did explore

You leaned over and kissed me

My heart now free from all pain

You leaned over and kissed me

Darling, please kiss me once again!

Freedom is but a Paradox

Can we ever be free, unless we’re alone?
Our freedom encroaches, like a cyclone,
Crushing and destroying those of next door,
Like a wooden house, their freedoms no more.

For every freedom we gain, others lose
We battle against someone else’s viewsparadox of freedom
True freedom means that all are unbound
But this would mean that no freedom is found.

Each person could do whatever they please
They could kill and hurt and take an seize
Thus true freedom is but a paradox
So I’ll stay here behind my chains and locks.

O fly pigeons, fly!

Look to it and fly dear pigeons, fly
The sun is melting gold, and stars
Drip their silver down the idle sky
The ice caps melt like prison bars
O fly pigeons, fly!
Go loop and swirl your joy on the sky.

It almost seemed home, the cage
Of our flesh, the vanity we desire
And all our wisdom was a little rage
Against the spoons and spoons of fire
O fly pigeons, fly!
Go loop and swirl your joy on the sky

With broken doors freedom falls apart
Value by value in the ransomed mind
The prison swells dark in the angry heart
O light in the eyes can make us blind
Go fly pigeons, fly!
Go loop and swirl your joy on the sky

O birds once caged hunger but to stay
Freedom found yearns to break its chains
Meaning in adversity falls to sweet decay
How stupid are swallows in summer rains
Go fly pigeons, fly!free-birds
Go loop and swirl your joy on the sky
